Devnaa, London’s leading provider of luxury Indian inspired confectionary is pleased to announce the launch of their first book - Devnaa: Indian Inspired Desserts, a portfolio of highly original, egg-free recipes that combine both eastern and western flavors such as Rasmalai with Strawberry Compote, and Coffee Masala Tiramisu. The book is available worldwide in hardcover, paperback and kindle formats via Amazon and all good book retailers.

London (PRWEB) June 12, 2012

Devnaa has been creating luxury Indian inspired sweet treats since 2006 by blending traditional recipes with artisan chocolate making techniques and a dessert recipe book was a natural progression to share their unique ideas on a global scale. Now Devnaa is proud to introduce their first cookbook- Devnaa: Indian Inspired Dessertsext, a collection of modern, vegetarian dessert recipes that combine both eastern and western flavors. Presented across colorful, inviting pages with tempting photography to match, these delightful recipes allow readers to experience a whole new dimension of Indian desserts.

Inspired by their upbringing in London as well as their Indian heritage, siblings Jay and Roopa Rawal founded Devnaa, which has offered a totally unique collection of sweets and desserts since 2006. Following the creation of exciting flavours like Dark Chocolate with Coconut and Cardamom, and an award-winning Chai Masala Truffle, the brother and sister team went on to produce the range of egg-free recipes that are presented in their first book, Devnaa: Indian Inspired Desserts.

The Cakes and Biscuits section includes Apricot and Saffron Scones, Raspberry Nankhatai, and an exotically spiced Carrot Cake Loaf. Try the Sweet Treat recipes, and make beautiful, bite-sized morsels of Ladoos, Barfis, Spiced Truffles, or even Apple Chutney Samosas! In After Dinner Desserts, traditional family recipes have a modern twist, like Rasmalai with Strawberry Compote and Baked Gulab Jamun. The second half of this section also includes fabulous fusion recipes like Coffee Masala Tiramisu and Coconut and Ginger Cheesecake. Finally, you will find the cool and refreshing Drinks and Frozen Dessert recipes such as Indian Style Ice Cream Sundae or the Basundi, and the Rose and Vanilla Kulfi, all perfect for summer barbecues and garden picnics.

Devnaa: Indian Inspired Desserts is dedicated to Jay and Roopa’s mother, Anila, who prepared the most amazing food every single day, and also to their grandmother, who inspired an entire generation of their family to pursue the art of fine cuisine.

This beautifully presented book, containing over 50 recipes available in hardback, paperback and Kindle formats can be purchased from Amazon.com and all good book retailers. About Devnaa:
Devnaa was founded in 2006 by siblings Roopa and Jay Rawal. Roopa’s mother and grandmother taught her how to cook when she was very young. However, as she mastered the age-old methods and traditional recipes that were used daily in her family home, it soon became apparent that her true passion lay in making desserts. Her enthusiasm continued to grow, and after graduating from university, she built on her expertise and love for sweet food with courses in patisserie and chocolate work. Roopa and her brother Jay went on to develop a range of sweets and award winning chocolates that combined traditional Indian recipes with artisan chocolate techniques, presented in their unique and colorful tiffin style packaging. All Devnaa products suitable for Vegetarians and alcohol free.
