The Race for Apps culminated today at Digital Shoreditch with an award ceremony naming the best apps produced by the digital community for visitors to the 2012 Olympic games.
(PRWEB UK) 3 June 2012
Shoreditch is an area renowned for its creative talent and a host of these entrepreneurs entered the Race for Apps competing in five categories. uTest named LoYakk as the most useable app, with a prize of £5000 plus a discount on uTest products for all finalists in the Race for Apps.
Testing in-the-Wild helps web, mobile and desktop apps enter the market having been tested in real situations by real users. Zappers and Race for Apps are just some ways that TCL and uTest are bringing in-the-wild testing to the start up communities in London, and around the World.
Stewart Noakes, uTest Ambassador to UK and India, states, "it's been a lot of fun being involved with Race for Apps and seeing the different ideas, and the different evolutionary paths, from each contestant. We were particularly impressed with Loyakk in the way they made the user experience at sign up easy and look forward to seeing great things from them in the future. Building in user centric quality like this from the start is a key enabler to fast take up of an app."
