Yardley London Introduces Shower Gels and Premium Bath Bars to the U.S. Market
White Plains, NY (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
With more than 240 years of history, Yardley London proves that an iconic brand can also be relevant with the introduction of an indulgent yet attainable new bath and shower collection. Lornamead Inc. partnered with Little Big Brands to develop the new line look.
“Only Yardley makes every shower a special treat with the perfect combination of delightful scents, wholesome, nourishing ingredients & skin-soothing bath benefits, while always remaining affordable,” said Deidre Williams, Skin Care Marketing Director, Lornamead. “We’re excited to add these ultra moisturizing gels and soaps to the Yardley portfolio, and offer women an affordable indulgence that is better for them and the environment.”
Every aspect of the packaging was chosen for value-added convenience and with the health conscious consumer in mind. The Bath & Shower Gels are ultra-concentrated, biodegradable and paraben free, while the 50 percent recycled content containers feature a handy pump dispenser adding to the convenience factor and allowing for one-handed application. New bath bars also feature eco-friendly packaging in the form of biodegradable, recyclable cartons and are created with 98% plant-derived ingredients in a pure vegetable base.
Both shower gels and soaps source botanical oils and pure extracts such as Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and Bergamot to engage the senses, and natural ingredients including Mango Butter, Sea Minerals and naturally detoxifying Sea Kelp to soothe and smooth skin.
“The line still embodies the essence of classic Yardley, but with a clean, modern aesthetic that helps reinforce the natural benefits of the products,” said John Nunziato, creative director, Little Big Brands.
The Yardley Skin Indulgence Bath & Shower Collection starts hitting drug and regional food stores nationwide this month.
