Organic Soap and Spa announces a new preservative free rosemary mint shampoo formula. Ever popular, super cleansing rosemary mint shampoo with real essential oils is designed for use in the gym as well as for professional use in the salon. Each Organic Soap and Spa shampoo is painstaking formulated and tested for performance and efficacy utilizing real organics, coconut oil soap and olive oil castile soap, natural cleansers free of harsh chemicals, perfumes, parabens, phthalates and preservatives.
“Honoring the environment of the human body is the emphasis of this new product line,” states the companies’ co- founder, Ms. Joan Torres-Saez. “With the increased research tying harmful parabens to breast cancer, we want to make sure we have absolutely no preservatives of any kinds - no matter how organic based they might be – in any of our products. Rosemary Mint Shampoo, reformulated, is the first product to take this huge step.” she adds.
The team at Organic Soap and Spa have been working for many months, along with advice from the USDA’s Oregon Tilth certification program and technical advisors from Organic Soap and Spa’s main processing manufacturer in London. “It’s exciting to be part of the process, along with our main formulator, Stephenson UK, out of London, who worked closely with us in developing this new line,” comments Ms. Torres-Saez. “The base product has already been certified NOP organic by the USDA. That’s the highest organic certification available – equal to food products. The base formula is also certified in the United Kingdom. The additional formulation products for the United States are USDA rosemary essential oil and USDA peppermint.”
Organic Soap and Spa Rosemary Mint Shampoo is in the initial stages of obtaining full certification through the USDA program.
The new product line will be available in 16 oz, 32 oz, retailing for $23 and $46 respectively. Back bar versions are available for the wholesale trade only.
