The Hanover Theatre in Worcester announces Mary Poppins on sale to members today

Mary Poppins is bringing its own brand of Broadway magic to Worcester September 25-30. Packed with unforgettable songs, brand-new breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stage-craft, it's everything you could ever want in a Broadway show.

The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Artsext and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced on Friday, May 10 that tickets for the long-awaited production of MARY POPPINSext are now on sale to Hanover Theatre Members, and to the general public next Friday, May 18 at 10am. Worcester’s most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, September 25 for a limited engagement of 1 week through Sunday, September 30. The opening night is Tuesday, September 25 at 7:30pm.

With four productions currently running on three continents, MARY POPPINS is one of the biggest stage musical successes to emerge from London or New York in recent years. Worldwide to date, the show has grossed over $644 million and welcomed 9.3 million guests. The musical is the winner of 44 major theatre awards around the globe, including Tony®, Olivier, Helpmann and Evening Standard awards.

MARY POPPINS, a co-production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh, opened on Broadway on November 16, 2006. Based on P.L. Travers' cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, MARY POPPINS the stage play features the Academy Award®-winning music and lyrics of Richard M.

MARY POPPINS brings the high-flying magic of Broadway to Worcester this fall, September 25-30. Performance dates and times include Tuesday, September 25 at 7:30pm, Wednesday, September 26 at 7:30pm, Thursday, September 27 at 7:30pm, Friday, September 28 at 8pm, Saturday, September 29 at 2pm & 8pm and Sunday, September 30 at 1pm & 6:30pm. Ticket prices for Tuesday & Wednesday performances are $35-$65. Ticket prices for performances Thursday-Sunday are $48-$78. Discounts are available for members, groups of 15 or more*, corporate partners and WOO Card holders. Special Family Night discount available for the Wednesday performance with a buy 2 tickets for the price of 1**.
