Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM)(TSE:RIM ) is considering separating its handset manufacturing division from its messaging network, according to a report by the Sunday Times of London.
Sunridge Gold Corp. (TSE:SGC) Monday revealed their latest assay results from the first three diamond drill holes at its Adi Rassi copper gold prospect in Eritrea, East Africa.
Among the highlights, drill hole AR-010D intersected 0.19 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 1.44% copper over an interval of 57.72 metres. Other notable results include: 0.51 g/t gold and 0.66% copper over an interval of 92.50 metres in drill hole AR-012D.
Canada's Encana (TSE:ECA)(NYSE:ECA) is alleged to have colluded with rival Chesapeake Energy (NYSE:CHK) to lower the price of U.S. shale-gas lands up for auction, according to Reuters.
Ithaca Energy (LON:IAE)(TSE:IAE) shares slipped nearly 10 per cent today as it reported an operational hiccup in the start-up of the Athena field.
FirstService Corp. (TSE:FSV)(NASDAQ:FSRV) Monday announced that it has decided to opt out of a large property services agreement with a government sponsored entity in the US, saying the business has become unprofitable.
Thomson Reuters (TSE:TRI) Monday acquired privately-held firm Zawya Limited as it continued to investment in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Asante Gold (CVE:ASE) Monday unveiled "positive" early drill results from the first phase of its maiden drill program at the company’s Fahiakoba concession in Ghana.
Significant results from the remaining assays of the 14 diamond drill holes totaling 2,437 metres, include hole FAH12-004 from 24 metres to 24.65 metres intercepting 0.65 metres of 11.1 grams per tonne (g/t) average uncut gold.
Prophecy Platinum (CVE:NKL) reported Monday it will downsize the brokered financing announced last week in a move to minimize share dilution.
The company also announced in Monday’s press release it appointed John Lee as interim chief executive as it continues to find a permanent candidate.
